Since I've been in the midst of a discernment process, I've done a lot of reflecting on how we make decisions. But don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to reveal a dark story about a poor decision, or a self-flagellating story about an embarrassing one. Let's keep it simple and go with five word pairs. Tell us which word in the pair appeals to you most, and after you've done all five, give us the reason why for one of them.
1) Cake or Pie ~~ I love a great cake. In my free time (which I am not sure when that is) I love to bake a cake and decorate it. While a simple box cake is nice, I love to experiment and see what happens when I add extra things.
2) Train or Airplane ~~ Living outside of NYC, I loved to take the commuter train to NYC. It was a great way to travel and I couldn't help but enjoy the view of the Hudson River as we traveled. While in seminary, I found trains a great way to travel so that I could get there reasonably priced and still able to do my homework while traveling.
3) Mac or PC ~~ PC. Every time I have problems I think, I should get a Mac, but I still use a PC.
4) Univocal or Equivocal ~~ Equivocal. I have a hard time with simple easy answers. Nothing is ever and open and shut book with me.
5) Peter or Paul ~~ This is a hard one for me. My kneejerk reaction is to dislike Paul because a lot of what he has said has been misquoted over the years and just makes my blood boil. So I am going to go with Peter besides he is the foundation.

Just found your blog through RevGals. I love your stole in your profile pic! Blessings to you.
Well, and a lot of those things Paul "said," he maybe didn't say, but like you, I go with Peter!
Thanks for playing!!!
Joolie, the stole was a gift from the the Logos kids while I was in seminary.
